Policy Proposal: Obtaining and Keeping a Key to Ant Hill Properties for General Members
The process of obtaining a key will be the following:
1) If interested, the General Member may write a proposal to obtain a key to Ant Hill Properties
2) The proposal must be submitted by 11:59PM Thursday to be voted upon at the following Sunday meeting.
3) The proposal passes if 2/3rds of the voting membership votes "yes" and there are no major objections.
4) If the proposal passes, the General Member must put down a $10 deposit for the key before Housing and Hospitality gives them the key.
5) Housing and Hospitality has until the following Sunday to give the member their key.
The qualifications for obtaining a key to the Ant Hill Properties aside from becoming a residential member are:
1) General member status for at least two months.
2) The member must be in good standing, having no outstanding debts, financial or chore, for more than 30 days prior to the submission of the proposal
In order to maintain the possession of the key to Ant Hill Properties, the General Member must keep up the responsibilities associated with General Membership and will be asked to relinquish the key if these responsibilities are not fulfilled for the duration of 60 days. The $10 deposit will be returned to the General Member with the return of the key to Housing and Hospitality.
Why might this be a good idea? We have had much debate recently due to Joanna's desire to keep her key, and past debates with other General Members. This is also another perk we can offer our General Members, sweetening the deal for their $10 contribution every month.

I'm really tired so short and sweet for the win.
I ran out of money for the most part, and want to set up something where I can pay a certain amount per week 'til I get caught up.
My proposal is this:
I'll pay $50 / week until I'm caught up- I'd go for more but my car needs what in human terms would be a quadruple-bypass operation.
I'll pay off the 50 / week for these past weeks of this month.
I've yet to do my taxes ( don't judge me! : P ) and it looks like I'll be getting atleast $300 from that in a couple weeks I'm assuming, though I can't say for sure due to lateness.
I'm pursuing a full-time job, and once that is up and running and it looks like my boat is somewhat above water I'll concentrate on the rent, and I should (if that goes as planned) be able to settle the remaining balance fairly quickly.
